Jars

I've been using my scrapbooking supplies to decorate all kinds of jars, like this one. This jar is painted with sealed chalk paint to make it white. The lid has a drawer pull through it and the flower on the front is paper. These are so much fun to make!

Rooster/Home Decor


I was given this ceramic rooster by a neighbor, who knows that I love to repurpose and redo old stuff. This little guy was a multitude of colors before I redid it to fit the decor I like. Now, his pearlescent finish and faux gem eyes add just what I thought this guy needed to make him presentable...

The first coat of paint is chalk paint by Amy Howard. The second coat was my own mix of the color of chalk paint I wanted, then I added a pealescent finish with Inka Gold, and sealed with an acrylic all-purpose type sealer. Last, I added the little faux diamonds for his eyes.

I love how he turned out, don't you?

Old Photo Frame for Serving Tray

A good friend of mine found this old frame at a garage sale, which I painted, added a handle and pretty paper to the inside, and put chipboard on the bottom. Now, this beautiful serving tray makes and excellent home accessory for the coffee table...
